Ontario's oldest Ice Climbing Tour company takes visitors to the area on a day long experience in the Haliburton Highlands to ascend 70- 90 ft natural ice waterfalls. Your guides will teach you to climb with ice axes and crampons to the top of these incredible ice formations. All climbing equipment provided and full day instruction.
Of the many nearby trails, the wildest and most scenic would have to be the Wilson's Falls Trail. With trailhead access at Macaulay Public School on Cedar Lane, Wilson Falls provides adventurers with a 3.6 km hike that leads to a picturesque waterfall.
Immerse yourself in Muskoka beauty by heading out on the local trails this weekend. The Bracebridge Resource Management Centre is located just a few minutes north of the Cedar Lane exit, on Highway 11, and contains a series of groomed cross-country ski and snowshoeing trails. These trails are free to use and are open seven days a week.
Located at the north end of Bracebridge (110 Clearbrook Trail), the Sportsplex offers a variety of fun programming and recreational activities for people of all ages and abilities. Warm up before the festivities at a Yoga Specialty Workshop called "Happy Hormones" being held from 8:30 am - 9:45 am, or climb the indoor rock wall, with instruction, from 10:30 am - 1:30 pm. If you are looking for more family-fun after the festival, the Sportsplex also offers a 'toonie swim' from 7:00 am - 8:30 pm.

A new race on the Snowshoe Canada Calendar. Located at Morrison Meadows Park, a municipally owned venue 10 km out of the town of Bracebridege. They have great trails and a very unique indoor barn structure for pre and post-race festivities.
